I will try them in their own folder as bin cue format and see if redream recognizes them, then i will try converting to chd again and see if they are still recognized. so, for the games that aren't working im gonna try that first. I just watched a video tutorial where a guy says the should each bein their own folder (even tho SOME games are showing up without being in their own individual folder). they went straight into the folder in that format. Currently the new games I added are in chd format. Theoretically, when using launch box/big box, it should launch straight into the game without showing the redream gui, but as the game isn't working it launches redream instead and shows the library, where most of the many of the games I added are missing. gdi and some in cue/bin format, at the time) ARE still working in their chd format but many of the new games adding many of them aren't showing in redreams gui. The WEIRD thing is that the games that were already in my collection and working (in. Mostly i noticed this problem after adding some new games and converting my entire collection to. Anyways my main issue is not just the wince games but in general now many games added to the folder (the same folder that is set for redream to look for roms) are not showing up in redream. others dont open at all, one opened and said "this game requires a real dreamcast bios, even tho I HAVE the bios in the system folder of retroarch (DCboot.bin). Most games im trying to run with redream, (the Win CE games im trying to launch with flycast core in Retroarch - on that note, Sega rally 2 runs fine in retroarch. Maybe if I scour the internet and try things we can find a solution together for our problems! Im also having big problems with this area. That’s it, now you have your settings configured for optimal Dreamcast gameplay.Im sorry to see you didnt get any replies on this. To keep these settings in RetroArch, head to the Main Menu (on the far left) and go to “Configuration File”, and select “Save Current Configuration”. This will use these settings with every game that launches with the Flycast core. If the settings are to your liking, back out of the Options menu and within the game settings menu, go to “Overrides”, and choose “Save Core Overrides”. You can also enable frameskip for games that need it, but I have found that it doesn’t work very well on this system. Go to “Options”, then make the following changes: Mipmapping: on Press and hold START for a few seconds, then the game settings will appear. To set up your game settings, go to your Dreamcast playlist, select a game, and then choose “Run” to start the game. Finally, select “Start Scan” and it will add your remaining files (minus box art, unfortunately). Press START once you have the file type written. For “File Extensions”, select the filetype you are trying to import (i.e.cdi files) - just type “cdi”, no need for a period. For “System Name”, select Sega Dreamcast. For “Content Directory, navigate to the folder where your Dreamcast ROMs are stored. Go back to the “Import Content” menu in RetroArch, but this time select “Manual Scan”. In generally, I have found that this option does well with. If you see that some are missing, you will want to do a manual scan to catch the others. Navigate to that menu and check your games. The system will now scan your game files and create a Dreamcast playlist in your main menu. Navigate to the folder where your Dreamcast ROMs are stored (for me, it’s /storage/sdcard1/games/download/DC), and select “”. Navigate to the “Import Content” menu in RetroArch, then select “Scan Directory”. I’ve read that for the best performance, you should add the Dreamcast BIOS files (dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin) to the /RetroArch/system folder on your SD card, but I haven’t not detected any improvement in gameplay after adding them. After you select your game file, it will ask you which core to use, and select Flycore. To load a game, select “Load Content” and navigate to where your ROMs are stored on your SD card. Periodically, go to the “Online Update” setting and select “Update Installed Cores” to make sure you have the latest Flycast core. To do so, simply go to the “Load Core” option in the Main Menu, then go to “Download a Core”, and select the Sega Dreamcast (Flycast) core. To start, you need to open RetroArch and download the Flycast “core” (emulator). Luckily, RetroArch is pre-installed on your Retroid Pocket as well, and it takes minimal configuration to get running. ![]() There is also a pre-installed Flycast emulator on the Retroid Pocket 2 (on the Android OS), but it is rather cumbersome to navigate, and its settings are difficult to interpret. The Retroid Pocket OS can play Dreamcast games on the fly, but there aren’t any configuration options and the games play relatively slowly. The best Dreamcast emulator – RetroArch with the Flycast core
